Summaries by talk
A breakdown of every segment: what was said in substance, which tools and artifacts were named, what the audience asked, and what position the speaker takes.
How to read
- The summaries contain only what was said from the stage, per the transcript of the video. The speakers’ figures and estimates are given as they were spoken; as a rule they did not name their sources.
- Structure of a talk file: In brief / Key points / Tools, artifacts, technologies / Legal and organizational context / Questions from the audience / The speaker’s position / Quotes. The opening and the closing have a shorter structure: “What was said” instead of “Key points”, and no questions section.
- Quotes follow the published English subtitle track of the video — the same wording that runs on YouTube; the Russian version quotes the Russian transcript word for word. Omissions inside a quote are marked “…”.
- The recording has no speaker separation: in the questions from the audience, “who asked” is inferred from the context and by ear, and in most cases the names of those asking are not established.
- Names, companies, titles and the order of the talks follow the official program; the talk numbers are the program’s, so talk 6 is in the list even though it is not in the recording. Products are named as pronounced.
- There are no timecodes in the text. To jump to the right point of the video, use the “Watch from…” link in the header of a talk.
- Not in the recording: Igor Zaitsev’s closed-door talk (UAVs), the “roast”, the prize draw, the breaks.
